Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is certainly one of the best players in all of the NBA and there can even be a case that he is the best. Whether he is the best or not, he is certainly in the top five with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James.
His life before being on the Nuggets and in the NBA was certainly not the same that it is now. In a recent interview with CNN, the Nuggets Superstar had this to say,
“I used to drink two or three liters of Coca-cola every day and I had my last can on the flight to the United States. The first week in practice was tough. All my teammates were more physical and athletic…I kind of wanted to go home.”
It is pretty crazy to hear him say that he was thinking about going home because of just how good he has been for the Nuggets. When looking at what he has done in Denver it is simply mind-blowing because he plays the game differently than anybody else in the NBA.
If he was to have gone home, Denver would have been losing a superstar and so would have the rest of the world because he is exactly that. Not only is he a superstar on the court, but he is hilarious off of it and is definitely one of the biggest jokesters in all of the NBA.
