Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double in a 90-86 Game 7 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, giving him his second triple-double of the first-round series. By notching his 21-point, 15-rebound, 10-assist triple-double, Jokic joined Magic Johnson and LeBron James as the only players in NBA history with multiple triple-doubles in their first postseason:

Nikola Jokic also recorded a triple-double in Game 1, going for 10 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists in a 101-96 loss. The big man flirted with other triple-doubles multiple times throughout the rest of the series, falling two assists shy in three games and one assist shy in another.

Jokic almost averaged a triple-double for the series by putting up 23.1 points, 12.1 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game in the seven-game set. That's certainly quite a way to make a statement in a postseason debut.

Magic Johnson also had two triple-doubles in his first playoff series, and he went on to finish with five of them as the Los Angeles Lakers won the championship in 1980. LeBron James had one triple-double in his first playoff series in 2006 before finishing with three of them over the course of his debut postseason run.

Jokic will now look to add more triple-doubles to his name in the second round against the Portland Trail Blazers. He won't have to contend with former teammate Jusuf Nurkic because of his injury, and Enes Kanter is also dealing with an injury and will be limited at best. The Blazers will have their hands full with the Nuggets star.
