Need even more reasons as to why Denver Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic is an absolute beast of a player? Well, here's another impressive statistic to add to his resume. According to a tweet on Friday morning from ESPN Stats & Info, Jokic joins only Oklahoma City Thunder superstar point guard Russell Westbrook as the only two players in the last 20 seasons to achieve a triple-double in the first half of an NBA game.

That's pretty incredible, to say the least, especially because Jokic is listed as a center. The 22-year-old, who was drafted by the Nuggets in the 2nd round of the 2014 NBA Draft, went off for an unbelievable stat line in Thursday night's 134-123 road win over the Milwaukee Bucks. In 34 minutes of action, Jokic finished with 30 points on an impressive 11-of-14 shooting from the field, an eye-opening 17 assists, 15 rebounds, two blocked shots and one steal.

“I just started playing well and making shots,” Jokic said, who had 17 of Denver's 37 assists on the night. “I didn’t have any extra motivation or anything like that though. I’m just playing the same way I always play. Maybe I was a little more aggressive tonight, but I’m playing the same.”

Jokic, humble as always, wanted to get all of his teammates involved and felt the Nuggets needed a complete team effort to pull off the win in Milwaukee, according to a video posted on the NBA official Twitter account.

“I just wanted to make everybody involved. I think that's what we needed against this team. We outplayed them with the running, the passing and we played a really good game on defense too,” Jokic said.

The Nuggets, who have won three games in a row and six of their last seven, head into the All-Star break as the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference with a 32-26 record.
