Speed isn't exactly Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic's strongest suit, but he certainly showed some agility with this heads up play against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Pepsi Center on Friday. With less than a second left in the shot clock, the Nuggets needed a quick heave before time expired in the second period.

The Joker knew he had to go deep in his bag of tricks to make something happen and that's just exactly what he did. In just one motion, the Serbian center caught an inbound pass from teammate Jamal Murray and proceeded to launch a one-legged step-back triple right over the top of OKC defender Al Horford.

While the Nuggets would have been lucky just to avoid the turnover, Jokic actually gave them three additional points on the board by splashing the desperation shot.

Nikola Jokic continues to make his claim as the best center in the league today with phenomenal plays like that one. The do-it-all slotman has inserted himself in the early MVP conversation, with averages of 26.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 8.6 assists, and 1.6 steals in 24 games before Friday's home versus the Thunder.

His incredible footwork display has already been dubbed as the shuffle by in-game announcers calling the Nuggets matchup.
