Veteran forward Paul Millsap has claimed that his team — the Denver Nuggets — has ‘one of the best benches in the league'

After their 116-104 win on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns, Millsap shared his thoughts on how big the bench was in the game and in the young 2019-20 season. Peep the clip below per Altitude TV.

The Nuggets have extended their winning streak to five games. They currently sport a 12-3 record for second place in the Western Conference.

Last season was a turning point for the franchise as they locked in a 54-win season (their first 50-win season since the 2012-13 season) and made it to the Conference Semifinals.

Now, they're picking where they left off with a strong start. Analysts have been impressed by their play given the makeup of their team. While they do have star players like Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, head coach Michael Malone pretty much employes a team-first playstyle — opting for lucid player movement rather than isolation plays.

This type of style requires a high level of skill and coordination from every single player. And so far, the Nuggets have been extremely successful in this endeavor. And Millsap — the 14th-year veteran — is nothing but impressed with what he's seeing from his relatively younger teammates.
