Denver Nuggets big man Paul Millsap is expected to miss four-to-six weeks with a broken big toe in his right foot, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Paul Millsap suffered the injury last Friday on the road against the Charlotte Hornets.

In 25 games this season, Paul Millsap is averaging 13.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 49.6 percent from the field, 40.0 percent from beyond the arc and 72.7 percent from the free-throw line. The injury bug just won’t leave Millsap alone. The four-time All-Star only played in 38 games last season after undergoing surgery on his left wrist in November.

Paul Millsap signed a three-year, $90 million free agent deal with the Nuggets in the summer of 2017 after spending the previous four seasons with the Atlanta Hawks. Denver enters Monday with a record of 17-9, third place in the rugged Western Conference.

The Nuggets are going to try their best to stay afloat without Paul Millsap, but it won't be easy. The veteran power forward provides stability in the frontcourt and he and star center Nikola Jokic form a dynamic duo.

Denver head coach Michael Malone, though, has to be relieved that Millsap won't miss the entire season. With Millsap out, Trey Lyles, Mason Plumlee and Torrey Craig have to take their games to the next level.
