Paul Millsap is easily one of the Nuggets' best players when he is on the floor. His strong premier shooting and rebounding makes him an invaluable member of the Nuggets after signing a $90 million contract this summer. When he was healthy, the Nuggets thrived, which is why the team has found themselves on the verge to make the postseason this year. However, if the Nuggets do make the postseason, they will need the services of their best player again. Though, Millstone is currently still out with a left wrist injury. It now appears that he is weeks away from returning, even after engaging in contact drills the past few days, per Harrison Wind of BSN Denver.

Despite going through full-contact drills Wednesday in the Nuggets' first practice since the All-Star break, Paul Millsap is still weeks away from returning to Denver's lineup.

Wrist injuries are very serious, and it appears that Millsap's wrist hasn't healed even over the All-Star break. The Nuggets have demonstrated that they can win without him, so there shouldn't be a rush to get him back yet, especially since Nikola Jokic is playing excellently. Though, the Nuggets are obviously going after the lower seed spots in the Western Conference. This means that the Nuggets can potentially face the Warriors, Rockets, and Spurs in the postseason, which won't be ideal without Millsap.

Millsap's unique play style is a definite weakness against fast-paced teams because Millsap can dominate the paint and shoot from the outside. Hopefully, Millsap can get all the rest he can and improve his condition to get back on the court in time for the playoffs.
