Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone is excited to see Will Barton and Gary Harris participating in practice once again.

Will Barton underwent surgery back in October to fix issues with core and hip muscles, which has limited him to just two games on the season. Meanwhile, Harris picked up his own hip injury in early December has been out ever since.

However, the Nuggets coach is thrilled that the two players are practicing again, which should put Denver closer and closer to getting everyone healthy again.

While Michael Malone confirmed there is no timetable yet for the return of the two players, he said that their presence in practice is helping energize the Nuggets, per Chris Dempsey.

There, however, remains no timetable for their return. Still, Malone said, “the fact that we've got guys participating — and I think it's picking up the energy of our other players, b/c we all realize, ‘Hey, we're getting closer, really close, to being whole again.'”

The Nuggets are currently 21-10 on the season and most recently saw their four-game winning streak snapped by the LA Clippers on Saturday night.

Next up for Malone's team is a matchup with the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
