Denver Nuggets rookie Michael Porter Jr. made headlines after the team's Game 4 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers when he said other players need to touch the ball on offense other than stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

In typical Porter fashion, the youngster responded in Game 5 by making two of the biggest plays of the contest to help the Nuggets extend the series to Game 6.

First, the Nuggets wing hit a three-pointer to give Denver a five-point lead with about a minute left.

Then, Porter blocked Clippers big man Ivica Zubac.

Michael Porter Jr. finished Game 5 with only seven points in 22 minutes. However, his 3-pointer and clutch free-throws at the end proved to be monumental.

The Nuggets are trying to overcome their second 3-1 series deficit in the 2020 playoffs. Denver defeated the Utah Jazz in the first round of the postseason in seven epic games after falling down 3-1.

While the Clippers will likely be favored to win Game 6 since they have yet to lose two games in a row in the playoffs, don't count out these feisty Nuggets, folks.
