Broadcasters usually get off the beaten path of hyping up plays every now and then to give fans some quality content. However, the broadcast team during the Denver Nuggets' narrow loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers definitely went off the rails in a fiery blaze with their off-hand commentary.

During a timeout in the game, the commentators talked about Will Barton's 200-IQ play against the Charlotte Hornets two nights ago. Fans were asked what to call his incredible pass off Cody Martin's back. And to say that they went wild with the brainstorming is selling the moment's comedic value short. It was epic.

Bleacher Report's video showed just how outrageous the conversation went.

To be fair, the pass Barton made was definitely an unforgettable one.

Unfortunately for Nuggets fans, their team was just short of the win against a resurgent Cavaliers. Gary Harris' 18 points and Jamal Murray's 17 points were only some of the good things during that game. Nikola Jokic was expertly shut down by the Cleveland defense.

Whatever name they decided on Barton's play, it'll hopefully distract Nuggets fans from the loss for a good bit.
