The Denver Nuggets are a terrific story this season in the NBA. After barely missing the playoffs last season, they came back stronger than ever this year and established themselves as one of best teams in the league.

One of the main reasons the team has played so well is the development of unsung heroes such as Monte Morris and Malik Beasley off the bench. Morris is an extremely steady backup point guard to Jamal Murray and Beasley typifies the three-and-D wing archetype that has dominated the league the past few years.

Beyond that, Beasley is a striking athlete, as many recent Florida State players have been. Beasley showcased his bounce in the Wednesday's win against the San Antonio Spurs when he launched off the ground and hammered a dunk over Drew Eubanks that got the bench and the Nuggets crowd rather hyped.

The best part is probably Malik Beasley’s reaction after smashing home this incredible jam: Dead-eyed stoicism. Sure, the Nuggets might be unproven in the playoffs, but it looks as if Beasley is ready to square off against whatever team Denver faces in the first round.

With the win, Denver improved to 52-26 on the season.

The playoffs can’t get here soon enough!
