Denver Nuggets rookie Michael Porter Jr. had a tough shooting night in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, but he is hoping to get it going in Game 2 on Sunday night.

Porter has showcased his shot-making ability throughout the course of the NBA restart, and he did so again in Game 2, making a double-pump jumper over LeBron James.

The Nuggets will need more from Michael Porter Jr. as the series wages on.

Porter shot just 3-for-9 from the field and 1-for-6 from the three-point line in Game 1, struggling to provide the Nuggets with scoring as Nikola Jokic sat due to foul trouble.

The Lakers have sent multiple defenders at both Jokic and Jamal Murray early in the series, which means Denver must get contributions from the likes of Porter, Gary Harris, and others.

Porter has the moxie to recover from an off shooting night, and he can certainly make a difference by hitting difficult shots such as this one.
