Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic showed off his repertoire of post moves on Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets, as he hit Jarrett Allen with a one-legged fadeaway jumper over his left shoulder.

The move was made famous by another great European big man in Dirk Nowitzki, who used the move and his long seven-foot frame to shoot over defenses and dominate anyone guarding him throughout his 21-year NBA career.

As for Jokic, the Serbian seven-footer has struggled a bit to start the 2019-20 season. After an All-NBA first team season in which he averaged 20.1 points, 10.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists, Jokic is averaging just 15.7 points, 10.1 boards and 6.1 dimes on much lower efficiency.

The fifth-year pro is unquestionably one of the best centers in the NBA today; however, after the best season of his career, he has failed to replicate the same kind of individual success.

On the bright side, Jokic has started to get in a groove offensively, scoring a combined 54 points in his last two games — both losses.

Despite Jokic's down year, Denver has still managed to stay in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race. The Nuggets are currently 14-7 on the year and in fifth place in the West. It is worth noting though that they have slowed down and lost four of their last five games.

Last year, the Nuggets ended the season with 54 wins, the franchise's most victories in a decade. The second-seeded Denver would go on to lose in seven games to the Portland Trailblazers in the Western Conference Semifinals.
