Not only is Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic one of the best big men in all of the NBA, but the 7-foot Serbian is also a player you can count on with the game on the line.

Jokic proved that with a clutch play on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz.

Down one with just over a minute left to go in the game, Jokic received a pass in the post from Nuggets point guard Monte Morris. Matched up against two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert, the Joker hit a smooth fadeaway jumper off one leg to give his team the lead.

The Nuggets would end up winning the game 98-95 to move to 36-16 on the season. They are currently tied with the Los Angeles Clippers for the second seed in the Western Conference.

Nikola Jokic put in a monster triple-double effort against the Jazz, playing 40 minutes and recording 30 points on 14-24 shooting on top of 21 rebounds and 10 assists.

It is also worth noting that the Nuggets played with only seven players available after Tuesday's blockbuster four-team trade that also involved the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks and Minnesota Timberwolves.
