Odell Beckham Jr has been one of the prominent faces of the NFL since being drafted in 2014. Dating back to his early days with the New York Giants, he has been one of the game's stars.

Now as he aims to return from another ACL tear, the 29-year-old wide receiver is also looking for a new place to call home. With training camp on the horizon, he may be looking to join a team soon.

Over his eight professional seasons, Beckham has spent time on three different teams. Most recently, he returned to prominence with the Los Angeles Rams

During each stop of his career, Beckham has experienced highs and lows. In his five seasons with the New York Giants, there was an argument to be made that he was the NFL’s top receiving option. In 59 games with the Giants, he racked up 390 receptions, 5,476 receiving yards, and 44 touchdowns.

After the Giant's front office decided to move on from Beckham, he was sent to the Cleveland Browns. His three seasons in Cleveland were full of inconsistencies and a lack of rhythm within the offense.

In 29 games with the Browns, Beckham caught 114 passes for 1,586 yards and seven touchdowns.

Through the first six games of the 2021 season, Beckham served as nothing more than a placeholder for the Browns. While on the field, he was targeted just 34 times. He caught 17 passes for 232 yards and zero touchdowns.

After these six games, Beckham was released. He then signed with the Los Angeles Rams. Once he joined the Rams, it was as if he was a new player. In eight games, he caught 27 passes for 305 yards and five touchdowns. His five touchdowns with the Rams were just two less than he had in three seasons with the Browns.

Odell Beckham played an important role in helping the Rams reach the Super Bowl. After the loss of Robert Woods, the Rams needed a strong wide receiver two. Beckham was able to come in and compliment Cooper Kupp from day one.

Beckham even scored the first touchdown of the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, a torn ACL forced during the game led to Beckham having to deal with yet another season-ending injury.

As he is currently rehabbing his knee, he is looking to find a place to play next season. At 29 years old, he still has good football left in him. The real question is what would be the best fit for Odell Beckham.

The 3 Best Possible Destinations for Odell Beckham

3. New England Patriots

A pairing between Beckham and the New England Patriots has been a long time coming. Through the years, both sides have shown interest in coming together. It could finally be the time to make that happen.

The Patriots are a team that has put together a strong receiving room. DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, Jakobi Meyers, and Nelson Agholor currently headline the group. Bourne and Meyers both experienced breakout years last season. The pair combined for 138 receptions, 1,666 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns.  Agholor also played a solid role last season. He had 37 receptions for 473 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

With the recent trade of N’Keal Harry, the Patriots could find themselves in search of one more proven target. A player of Beckham’s caliber could step in once healthy and fill that void.

By joining this receiving room, Beckham would bring depth. With them already having four proven options on the roster, he could also have flexibility that he hasn't had before in his career.

2. Green Bay Packers

After sending DaVante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders, the Green Bay Packers need receiver help.

Their receiving room currently consists of Sammy Watkins, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Christian Watson as their main targets. While three of these players are proven veterans, and another is a rookie with high expectations, they are lacking certain star power.

While Odell Beckham hasn’t been “elite” in recent years, he can still bring big plays. Without Adams, this unit does not have that sort of big play threat. As quarterback Aaron Rodgers gets older, it would also make sense to surround him with as many weapons as possible. If they want to maximize their championship window, bringing in a reliable receiver is necessary.

With reports that Beckham was interested in joining the Packers before signing with the Rams last season, this could make even more sense. Playing with an elite quarterback such as Rodgers could help Beckham maintain a solid level of play. He could even find himself in a large role within this unit.

1. Los Angeles Rams

A return to the Rams could be the best option for Odell Beckham. He has already found success in their system and has developed a connection with quarterback Matt Stafford.

By returning, he would be joining a fairly strong receiving room. Cooper Kupp is coming off of one of the best seasons a wide receiver has ever had. The triple-crown winner and offensive player of the year have shown no signs of slowing down. Veteran receiver Allen Robinson will also be joining this group.

Robinson, who spent the last four years with the Chicago Bears, will look to return to form with the Rams. He will also be the primary number two receiver behind Kupp.

They will also send out Van Jefferson, Tutu Atwell, and Ben Skowronek, who all showed flashes at points last season. Jefferson could play a large role in this team's success this season, regardless of who else is in the wide receiver room.

If Beckham were to return, he could benefit from a room with this much talent. Serving as their potential wide receiver three would give him favorable matchups regularly. It would also be his easiest path to reach another Super Bowl.

The Rams boast one of the deepest rosters in football. On both the offense and defense, they are riddled with star power. If Beckham wants to repeat, this could be his best option.
