Colin Cowherd's continued criticisms of Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield are becoming comically predictable at this point.

Mayfield took to Twitter on Wednesday night with the claim he and his wife, Emily, saw a UFO close to Lake Travis in Texas.

The FOX Sports talking head naturally felt the urge to chime in on the matter, saying legendary quarterbacks such as Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw & Tom Brady have never claimed to see aliens and that he would “prefer my guys don't talk about it.”

Cowherd did seem to backtrack a bit, noting Green Bay Packers quarterback and Super Bowl champion Aaron Rodgers once claimed to have seen a UFO.

The talking head then said, perhaps only partially in jest, the tweet–as well as Ben Roethlisberger's return to the Pittsburgh Steelers–would “skew” his predictions in the AFC North.

Here's how predictable Cowherd's rant on Baker Mayfield was: one Twitter user almost nailed his monologue to a “T.”

That speaks for itself right there.

Cowherd's criticisms of Mayfield goes all the way back to the quarterback's playing days at Oklahoma. Baker Mayfield has never been afraid to give it right back to Cowherd, including during his interview with the host of “The Herd” in the summer of 2018.

If nothing else, Cowherd sure finds a way of consistently living up to his reputation as a living, breathing meme.

Baker Mayfield had the best season of his young career in 2020. His 72.2 total QBR was a drastic improvement from his sophomore campaign (54.4) and, most notably, he led the Browns to the playoffs.

But it doesn't seem Cowherd will ever let him rest.
