Friday night featured the highly-anticipated Sugar Bowl matchup between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Clemson Tigers. The Buckeyes dominated consensus 2021 NFL first overall pick Trevor Lawrence and the Tigers for pretty much the entire contest, which prompted an understandably hyped reaction from Ohio native LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

James took to Twitter to shout out the Buckeyes for their dominant display:

LeBron also sent out a special message for Buckeyes QB Justin Fields:

Ohio State put their 6-0 record to the test against a second-seeded Clemson side, who themselves came into Friday's contest with just one defeat in 11 games this season. It was a high-profile matchup featuring two of the best teams in college football today, which made the Buckeye's domination even more impressive.

For his part, LeBron was coming off a tremendous performance himself on Friday, leading the Lakers to a 109-103 win over the San Antonio Spurs. The four-time NBA champ logged another triple-double for L.A. with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, to go along with three triples, and two steals in 36 minutes of action. James also showcased his athleticism early in the game, as he pulled off an impressive flip off the floor after a missed dunk.

Anthony Davis also had an outstanding showing for the Lakers, finishing with a game-high 34 points on 13-of-26 shooting, with four treys, 11 boards, five assists, two steals, and just one turnover in 35 minutes of play.

LeBron James, who celebrated his 36th birthday on Wednesday, had himself quite an evening with both his Lakers and Ohio State Football logging victories.
