Hello Twitter World! OJ Simpson has approved of the moves the New England Patriots have made so far in NFL free agency, going to his Twitter account to post a video.

Most notably, the one nicknamed “The Juice,” liked the moves by the Patriots in getting tight ends Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry. He notes in his video the versatility of Smith and called Henry, “a lesser version of Gronk,” which is high praise for the new Patriots tight end.

OJ Simpson notes at the end that for the Patriots, “It comes down to Cam Newton and whether or not he can get it done at quarterback.”

The Patriots have been on a spending spree since the legal tampering period began on Monday. Along with giving the aforementioned Jonnu Smith a four-year deal, and Hunter Henry a three-year deal, the Patriots have made plenty of other moves.

They signed pass rusher Matthew Judon away from the Baltimore Ravens on a four-year deal and sured up the secondary by inking up cornerback Jalen Mills with a four-year contract. They addressed a need up front on the defensive line by bringing back Deatrich Wise and poached away nose tackle Davon Godchaux from the Miami Dolphins.

Along with two tight ends, they added two receivers as well in Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne.

New England entered free agency as one of the top teams with cap space and wasted no time getting started. They have been aggressive but have attacked the market by adding guys with solid resumes to their name at positions of need.

The Patriots may have been off the grid in 2020, but they are making this free agency count as they look to bounce back in 2021. And hey, it doesn't hurt to have the approval of OJ Simpson.
