The Sacramento Kings have been around for almost a century in different capacities over the years, including a stint in Kansas City.

The franchise has called various cities home over their existence, with plenty of rich history in each location. In light of that, the Kansas City Kings' hardwood floor has been made available by the Kansas City auction house Equip-Bid Auctions.

The current bidding on the floor is at $1,650.00, which is unbelievably low given the history behind it. The Kings spent 13 seasons in Kansas City from 1972 to 1985, which saw the team struggle for much of it, experiencing nine losing seasons.

During this span, Hall of Famer Nate “Tiny” Archibald was a primary fixture for the franchise as their star player. Archibald became the first player in NBA history to lead the league in both scoring assists that occurred in his first campaign with Kansas City. However, Archibald's tenure only lasted six years, as he traded to the New York Nets in 1976.

The organization decided to move to Sacramento in 1985, where they have resided ever since. This is a piece of exclusive history in Kings that could be had at such a reasonable price. The greater the publicity for the floor, the more likely that price will continue to rise.
