Lane Kiffin and the No. 13 Ole Miss Rebels are in Knoxville Saturday night for a game against the Tennessee Volunteers, a program Kiffin used to be the head coach of. As expected, Kiffin met quite a tough Vols crowd, who welcomed him with jeers. Kiffin did not seem to mind it at all, though. In fact, when he was interviewed before the game and got asked what's keeping him relaxed amid the rain of boos, Kiffin responded that might have likely agitated Tennessee fans even more.

Via Nick Gray of the Mississippi Clarion Ledger:

“Coach Kiffin, you came out to a lot of boos,” Cubelic asked Kiffin before Ole Miss' game at Tennessee on Saturday. “What gives you comfort and calm when you come out to that kind of reception?”

“Matt Corral,” Kiffin said, before pausing. “I got you on that one. You thought I would say popcorn.”

That's a lot of confidence shown by Kiffin, whose Ole Miss team entered the Tennessee game with a 4-1 overall record. The Rebels' only loss before playing the Vols was the 42-21 demolition job done to them by the then No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa on Oct. 2. Ole Miss bounced back big time from that loss to Alabama by taking down the then-No .13 Arkansas Razorbacks on Oct. 9.

Outside of that loss to Nick Saban's boys, Ole Miss has looked fine this season, primarily because of the Rebels' offense that's one of the best nationally. Kiffin was right. Matt Corral has been sensational this season, as the quarterback is steering Ole Miss' attack the week fifth nationally with 44.2 points per game and 19th in passing yards per contest.
