Lane Kiffin is known for his outside the box thinking and it's helped him throughout his coaching career. He's in his second year at Ole Miss and has the program ranked No. 13 in the country.

Kiffin has a great quarterback now in Matt Corral but looking ahead, he would love to land the No. 1 quarterback prospect in the class of 2023, Arch Manning. So would everyone else. Per 247sports, Kiffin went next level with a hilarious idea to try and get Manning's attention.

The Ole Miss head coach had previously followed plenty of accounts but decided to unfollow them all and leave only Arch Manning on his “following” tab.

Manning is the nephew of legendary quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning. The family has strong ties to the Ole Miss program as both Eli and his dad, Archie Manning, attended the school and played college football in the SEC for the Rebels.

Arch Manning has Ole Miss on his list of schools that he is considering.

Eli was on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday and talked about all the pressure on the young quarterback.

“I feel for him. I mean, he’s got so much pressure, so many expectations,” Eli said. “People say, ‘Hey, I hear your nephew is going to be the best of all of y’all.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s no pressure.’ Peyton just went into the Hall of Fame this year. It’s not hard to become better than him and have a better career.

“I told him, ‘Hey, enjoy being a high school football player.’ Like, that is a great time in your life, some of the best friends you’ll have forever. Don’t start thinking so much about colleges or, ‘Hey, where am I going to go play college?’ and think about the next levels where you don’t get to enjoy this time in your life.”

Great advice from Eli and a savvy move the Ole Miss head coach.
