2022-23

Izan finished his second season at OTE losing in the championship to the City Reapers. He averaged 9.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. Almansa had four double-doubles in the regular season. He scored in double figures seven times through the regular season and four times in the playoffs. Stepped up his game in the playoffs averaging 12.5 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game. He had four double-doubles in six playoff games. Posted 18 points and at least 12 rebounds in two games in the playoffs. Izan 21 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in the final game of the regular season to clinch the two seed. 15 rebounds was his season high against the Bruins in December. Izan finished fifth in the league in rebounding.

2021-22

Izan had a great summer in Spain, earning MVP honors at the U17 World Cup and U18 European Championship. He played his role perfectly in his first season at OTE and was effective, despite a low usage rate. He finished sixth in league in TS% scoring in double-figures eight times.
