Overwatch team Toronto Defiant has announced the latest addition to their roster. Flex Support Park “Aztac” Jeong-soo joins the Canadian team for the 2021 Overwatch League season. This decision follows the exit of Toronto's DPS, Surefour.

Toronto Defiant is out to rebuild its team after dismantling the lineup early in the offseason. This is the first news we received from the Canada-based OWL team but it won't be the last. Fans can expect more talented players to join the lineup as we gear up for the 2021 season. Defiant's acquisition of Aztac may indicate the team foregoing their tendency of running mostly Western players in the lineup.

Aztac is most famous for his performances on the tier-two Overwatch scene but he has yet to compete in the Overwatch League. He may have found success in Korea but the competition will not be as easy in OWL. He has been consistent support for all of the teams he has been part of. Fortunately for Defiant, Aztac has championship experience under his belt and he's ready to show his skills on the OWL stage. The Korean Support was most recently part of WGS Phoenix as a stand-in from Uprising Academy. WGS eventually won the second season of the 2020 Contenders Korea.

The Defiant roster is slowly shaping up for 2021 but they have a lot of roles that still need players. Regardless of the skill of Aztac and the remaining players, the Canada squad needs to dig deep in order to fill their bench. The next season of OWL is fast approaching and it will not wait for any teams to pick themselves up.

Hopefully, Aztac can help Toronto Defiant make their way to the top of the Overwatch League.
