Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner had a career-high seven blocks in their 105-96 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night. However, Turner was not too satisfied despite his career night on the defensive end. He even thought he should have had more, per FOX Sports Indiana:

It's great to see a young guy like Myles Turner, who turns 23 later this month, strive to do better. Nonetheless, coming away with seven swats is no joke.

In addition to his seven blocks, Turner double-doubled with 10 points and 11 rebounds, but shot just 3-of-11 from the field.

Blocking shots is the specialty of the house for the 6-foot-11 big man out of Texas. He currently leads the league in blocks with a total of 166 on the season, and he's averaging 2.9 per contest. He has been in lockdown mode over his past 12 games, averaging 3.7 blocks per game in that span.

Turner has had multiple games with six blocks this season. He finally broke that barrier on Tuesday, with five of his career high coming in the first half. However, the Bulls still scored on four of those instances after corralling the loose balls, which made Turner visibly frustrated.

The Pacers still secured their 42nd win of the season, led by Bojan Bogdanovic's 27 points. They improved to 25-9 at home, and they're still holding down the third spot in the Eastern Conference.

Many thought Indiana was done for after All-Star guard Victor Oladipo suffered a devastating knee injury that ended his season in late January. However, the Pacers have continued to overachieve and remain competitive despite the major setback.
