The Indiana Pacers have added three more players to the league's health and safety protocols, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN: Caris LeVert, Goga Bitadze and TJ Warren. They join five other Indiana players.

The absence of LeVert really stings for the Pacers, as he has been playing some of his best basketball recently. Over his last 10 games, the 27-year-old wing has averaged 22.9 points, 6.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game with a field-goal percentage of 44.6 percent and 3-point percentage of 37.7 percent.

Bitadze has been one of Indiana's backup big men this season. He plays just 8.1 minutes per game, averaging 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds. Warren has not yet played this season as he continues rehabilitating a foot injury.

Recently, the Pacers brought back fan-favorite Lance Stephenson and G League players Justin Anderson, Nate Hinton and Ahmad Caver in the wake of their depleted depth. Indiana's hopes of becoming a playoff team were already dashed. With more and more key players entering protocols, the Pacers are on pace to miss the playoffs in consecutive years for the first time in a decade.

The 14-22 Pacers have not yet commenced a fire sale of their main players, though the likelihood of it increases as they continue to pile up losses. They have numerous players, such as two-time All-Star Domantas Sabonis, that should garner trade interest around the league.
