The Indiana Pacers didn't make a massive move in the offseason, but they added several pieces they believe can help the team. After being bounced out in the first round of the playoffs for the past two seasons, the Pacers are eager to do better, and former NBA player Chauncey Billups believes that that's what they're going to do next season.

In his interview with Detroit Free Press' Vince Ellis, Billups said that the Pacers did a great job this summer, and they will only get even better when All-Star guard Victor Oladipo returns from injury.

“When Victor Oladipo comes back, I really like what Indiana did, I think they got a ton better.”

Although they have lost one of their best players in Bojan Bogdanovic, who signed with the Utah Jazz, the Pacers were able to acquire former Milwaukee Bucks starting guard Malcolm Brogdon. They also landed former Phoenix Suns player TJ Warren as well as TJ McConnell, who was a quality reserve for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Moreover, with the departure of Bogdanovic, the Pacers will be trying a different starting lineup next season, as they are planning to play Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner together more often next season. If this works out, Indy will have pretty good defensively.

Then again, they will need their best player back in order for them to realize their full potential. As soon as Dipo returns, fans will see the Pacers at full strength, and on paper, they look really good.
