To say Justin Holiday is excited about playing with his younger Aaron Holiday on the Indiana Pacers would be an understatement.

Justin, who agreed to a free agent deal with the Pacers on Friday, says playing with Aaron is going to be a wonderful experience.

“It will be really good for us,” Justin said of playing alongside his brother, via Scott Agness of The Athletic. “I think our chemistry will go well together, and us playing together on the floor is really going to help the team. The best teammates for me to play with are my brothers. We all understand each other so well, we know each other’s strengths, and we actually all fit each other’s game very well.”

Justin Holiday split time last season with the Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies, averaging 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 82 games while shooting 38.6 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 89.6 percent from the free-throw line.

In his first season in the NBA in 2018-19, Aaron Holiday played in 50 games for the Pacers. He put up 5.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 40.1 percent from the floor, 33.9 percent from the 3-point line and 82.0 percent from the charity stripe.

The Pacers will need both Holiday brothers to score and shoot the ball well from deep until All-Star shooting guard Victor Oladipo returns to the lineup from his injury.
