Things got real heated between the Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz on Thursday night, with Myles Turner, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Joe Ingles all getting tossed after a kerfuffle that began with Turner and Gobert going at it. Turner called out Gobert for a ā€œdirtyā€ play after the Pacers pulled out an impressive 111-100 win on the road, and Malcolm Brogdon threw a bit of shade in the Jazz star's direction as well while propping up his teammate.

Brogdon also took to Twitter after the game to reiterated his point:

Gobert, of course, is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year and a three-time winner of the award. Turner is a great defensive player in his own right and has been a contender for DPOY in the past, but he doesn't have nearly the resume of Gobert.

Still, it's no surprise that Brogdon stuck up for Turner and hyped him up after everything that happened. The Pacers guard wanted to make sure he had his teammate's back after such an emotional victory. Turner had an excellent game with 13 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. Gobert had a nice game himself with 19 points and 11 rebounds, but it was Indiana coming out on top.

The Pacers have suffered a bunch of tough losses to start this season, so giving the Jazz their first home loss of the campaign in resounding fashion had to feel good. It was surely even sweeter after all the hubbub out on the floor. Indiana will try to use this as momentum moving forward in order to improve upon this 5-8 record.
