Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner had an incredible rebuttal for a fan's not-so-subtle way of criticizing him following the team's loss to the Chicago Bulls on Monday.

The fan apparently requested $100 from Turner on Venmo. But Turner turned it around on his critic, paying him all of a single cent, complete with a hilarious caption:

Absolutely hilarious stuff.

The banter continued even beyond the initial fan tweet, with Turner responding to the fan's complaint:

This seemed to prompt a rather salty retort from the fan in question:

Turner probably should be garnering more praise instead of Venmo requests for alleged poor play.

The 24-year-old Pacers center has been the best rim protector in basketball. Turner is averaging a massive 3.5 blocks per game while also racking up 1.1 steals per contest. Although he has struggled to be efficient from beyond the arc (32.5 percent on 4.4 attempts per game), Turner is scoring efficiently around the rim.

It was not long ago Turner's future in Indiana looked to be up in the air. Some reports suggested multiple teams had interest in the athletic Pacers big man, and there was an abundance of skepticism regarding both Turner and Victor Oladipo.

Whereas Oladipo is no longer a Pacer, Turner is probably going to be with the organization through the trade deadline. He probably needs to be more assertive in clearing the boards (6.6 rebounds per game), and the Pacers will undoubtedly hope he can convert on more of his triples.

But Turner gives Indiana a pivotal interior presence. Plus, he has savage rebuttals.
