Indiana Pacers head coach Nate McMillan says shooting guard Victor Oladipo's workouts “have been great.”

Oladipo is recovering from a ruptured quad tendon in his knee. The Pacers star suffered the injury on Jan. 23 against the Toronto Raptors. He's mostly been training in Miami this offseason.

While Nate McMillan says the Pacers still don't know when Oladipo will make his return, he's encouraged by how hard the guard is working on his craft.

Victor Oladipo averaged 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists for the Pacers last season before he got hurt. The All-Star shot 42.3 percent from the field, 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 73.0 percent from the free-throw line.

In need of scoring while Oladipo rehabs his knee, the Pacers acquired guards Malcolm Brogdon, TJ Warren and Jeremy Lamb this summer. All three guys can score the ball pretty well.

Brogdon put up 15.6 points per game last season for the Milwaukee Bucks; Lamb averaged 15.3 points with the Charlotte Hornets; Warren notched 18.0 points per contest with the Phoenix Suns. The Pacers traded for Brogdon and Warren and signed Lamb in free agency.

The Pacers won't rush Oladipo back. His long term health is the most important thing to Indiana since Oladipo is the best player on the team.
