Indiana Pacers guard TJ Warren was ejected on Wednesday after picking up two technical fouls following an altercation with Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler.

Warren was ejected after picking up his second technical foul for clapping his hands in Butler’s face after Butler was called for an offensive foul. This was after both guards got technical fouls for barking at each other. Butler was upset after Warren grabbed his arm on a drive to the hoop.

Speaking to Pacers reporters on Thursday, Warren admits he “blanked out” on Wednesday:

“I couldn’t understand what he was saying. I kinda blanked out, honestly,” TJ Warren told local media after the Pacers’ practice Thursday, via Indy Star. “I don’t even remember what really happened last night, really. That’s how spazzed I was. Just caught in the moment.”

Jimmy Butler took to Instagram after the game and circled when the Heat and Pacers play next. He called out Warren for being trash.

Needless to say, all eyes are going to be on Butler and Warren when the Heat and Pacers face off on March 20. It’s going to be an intriguing game since both the Heat and Pacers are really good and Butler and Warren will likely have words for each other again.
