After finally breaking out as an All-Star last season, Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo remains motivated to enhance his game even more. But he’s not only thinking of himself. Displaying a trait of a good leader, Oladipo brought along with him his team to his summer camp in Miami to let them experience the training he underwent with the help of Micah Lancaster and Joshua Dudley of I’m Possible Training last year to become the force that he was on the floor during the 2017-18 NBA season.

Per Scott Agness of The Athletic:

“He really wanted to bring his team into the same type of training that he’s been doing,” Lancaster told The Athletic. “So he organized it, he made sure that we were good to go that week, and then I also brought in top trainers in our organization to join us.”

“He sees this as a necessary step to start the season and get everyone’s focus in the right direction, and he feels like that was accomplished.” Lancaster said of Oladipo.

Behind Oladipo’s smash hit of a season, the Pacers surprised a lot of people by finishing fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 48-34 record. They were expected to regress after a much-maligned trade that sent star forward Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis, but critics started to zip it one by one after each magnificent performance by the former Indiana Hoosiers hotshot.

In his first season in Pacers uniform, Oladipo posted career highs of 23.1 points, 4.3 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.4 steals in 34.0 minutes per game.
