Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo is slowly making his way back to the hardwood, but there is no set date on when he will return.

Oladipo told The Undefeated about his rehab, “I wouldn’t say it is easy for me. But it’s not as bad as it might be for someone else because I work hard. If you thought I worked hard before, this is a whole different level where I am working twice as hard. It’s definitely pushing me and will be good for me in the future.”

Oladipo suffered a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee late January that kept him out for the rest of the season. The Pacers proceeded to get swept in the first round of the 2019 NBA playoffs against the Boston Celtics.

There is still no timetable in Oladipo's mind for when he will be welcomed back.

“No, not yet,” Oladipo said. “We’ll see. It’s about making sure everything goes the way it is supposed to go. We’ll see when the season starts when I can get back there. I don’t have a date yet. Who knows? But I didn’t necessarily think I’d be running right now. Rehab is different for everybody. Everyone’s body is different. We’ll see. You never know.”

Oladipo made a name for himself in Indiana after stints with the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder. Before his injury, Oladipo was averaging 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists.
