Indiana Pacers fans with an affinity for talented wing and perimeter shooter Bojan Bogdanovic may not want to read this.

An unrestricted free agent, Bogdanovic signed with the playoff-contending Utah Jazz this offseason. The Jazz have solid talent in Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, and they propelled themselves to legitimate threats in the West with the acquisition of veteran point guard Mike Conley prior to the NBA Draft last month.

It was an appealing destination for Bogdanovic, who will likely assist in making long-range shots for another postseason-bound team. However, the Croatian baller reportedly had agreed to a deal to re-sign with Indiana before landing with Utah.

Per Bob Kravitz in The Athletic:

The 6-foot-8 forward, who turned 30 in April, appeared to be searching for a career security blanket in a guaranteed fourth year in his next contract, and the Pacers ostensibly balked at providing employment for Bogdanovic into his age-34 year.
Some of the Pacers' offseason acquisitions include T.J. Warren in a deal with the Phoenix Suns; Malcolm Brogdon in a sign-and-trade deal with the Milwaukee Bucks; and Jeremy Lamb in a three-year deal.
