Indiana Pacers point guard Cory Joseph has reportedly received interest from the Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Joseph becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer. He made $7.9 million this past season with the Pacers.

Free agent guard Cory Joseph has received interest from several teams seeking point-guard help, including Phoenix, Washington, Sacramento and Chicago, league sources said.

In 82 games for the Pacers in 2018-19, Joseph averaged 6.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists while shooting 41.2 percent from the field, 32.2 percent from beyond the arc and 69.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Wizards, Suns and Kings all need point guard depth. The Wizards will likely be without All-Star John Wall for the entire 2019-20 season as he recovers from heel and Achilles surgery. The Kings need a serviceable backup behind De'Aaron Fox, while the Suns have been looking for a starting-caliber point guard ever since they traded Eric Bledsoe to the Milwaukee Bucks in 2017.

The Bulls have Kris Dunn and drafted Coby White with the seventh overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. They don't need Joseph as much as the other teams do.

The Pacers could also look to re-sign Joseph since starter Darren Collison also enters the open market this summer.
