According to multiple reports, the Indiana Pacers are on the brink of a major squad overhaul. The team is reportedly open to the prospect of parting ways with their star players, with Domantas Sabonis now emerging as a trade target for multiple teams.

Sabonis, who has been with the Pacers for the past four years, appears to be on the fence at this point. There have been conflicting reports about the All-Star big man's true feelings about his future in Indiana and right now, it remains unclear if he will be shipped off or not.

According to NBA insider Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, Sabonis no longer wants to play in Indiana:

“He just straight wants out. He does,” O'Connor said.

O'Connor's report was seconded by another senior NBA reporter in Matt Moore of the Action Network:

“That’s what I was told by multiple league sources as well, and that it wasn’t just this season, but instead going back to last year Sabonis was looking for a change of scenery.”

Based on these two sources, it is clear that Sabonis wants nothing to do with the Pacers' plans of a revamp and that he would much rather take his talents elsewhere.

Another Pacers reporter, however, was quick to deny these claims. According to Scott Agnes of the Fieldhouse Files, these rumors just aren't true:

The Phoenix Suns, the Sacramento Kings, and the Golden State Warriors are just some of the teams that have already been linked to a possible swoop for Sabonis, and it would not be surprising if other teams jump in on the action if and when the 25-year-old actually demands a trade from the Pacers. Things are going to get very interesting in Indiana in the coming months.
