The Indiana Pacers acquired Buddy Hield as part of a blockbuster trade with the Sacramento Kings involving Tyrese Haliburton and Domantas Sabonis. There was some belief that the Pacers would then try to flip Hield as the next step in their rebuild, though the latest rumors seem to indicate that a Hield trade might not be part of Indiana's plans. The latest Pacers rumors confirm Indiana's stance on the former Kings guard ahead of the trade deadline, per ESPN's Zach Lowe.

ESPN's Zach Lowe says that as of right now, the Pacers do not plan to trade Buddy Hield. The rumors confirm that there has been some interest from other teams, but that Indiana isn't actively seeking to flip the former Kings guard.

Of course, Lowe adds the very relevant caveat that all of this can change in the next 26 hours. Hield, 29, certainly remains an attractive trade candidate, given that he is still in his prime at 29 years old and is one of the better three-point shooters in the league.

Unless a team presents the Pacers with an offer they can't refuse, it sounds like former Kings guard Buddy Hield will remain a part of Indiana's plans moving forward.

It will be interesting to see if anything- or anyone- makes the Pacers change their mind.
