The Indiana Pacers are doing everything that they can to remain competitive in the Eastern Conference. They've improved to 5-4 this season after beating the Detroit Pistons 112-106 on Friday night. Domantas Sabonis led the way with 17 points on 6-14 shooting, 14 rebounds, and six assists. He also had this monster one-hand slam in the first quarter of the game.

Sabonis has been playing really well this season. He's averaging 20.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 54.5 percent from the field, including 42.9 percent from beyond the arc. He's stepping up in the absence of Myles Turner, who missed his fifth consecutive game because of a sprained right ankle.

If Sabonis remains consistent, he could become an All-Star this season, especially if he keeps producing those numbers when Turner and Victor Oladipo returns. He's still just 23 years old, which means that he will still get better.
