Justin Holiday didn't sign with the Indiana Pacers just because his brother Aaron Holiday is on the team.

While that did play somewhat of a role for the older Holiday brother, the basketball fit on the Pacers just made too much sense for Justin, who signed a one-year, $4.8 million deal with Indiana.

Justin Holiday played with the Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies last season. The Bulls traded him to the Grizzlies in January.

Holiday averaged 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 82 games last season while shooting 38.6 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 89.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Holiday is the only player on the Pacers who has played in the NBA Finals and won a championship. He was part of the 2015 Golden State Warriors team which won the title over LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games.

Holiday will be a great veteran leader, not just for his brother Aaron, but for the entire Pacers team.

Justin has career averages of 8.1 points on 39.0 percent shooting from the floor and 34.9 percent from the 3-point line. The Pacers are going to be without All-Star shooting Victor Oladipo to begin the season, so Holiday's shooting and defense will be huge for Indiana.
