What's more entertaining than action inside the court is the reaction by the bench players.

A recent dunk by Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner in their game against the New Orleans Pelicans is a testament to this fact. In a clip posted on the NBA's Twitter account, the Pacers bench rose to their feet and went crazy after Turner slammed down a facial on Cheick Diallo of the Pelicans:

Turner, who's currently in his third year in the league, has been consistent throughout his career so far. For the season, he is averaging 13.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.9 blocks per game. He has helped guide the surprising Pacers to a 41-30 record for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

This is a shock to many. When Paul George was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, many believed that the Pacers have entered their rebuilding mode. They forecasted the Pacers to be out of playoff contention until they find a good set of lottery players.

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton was one of those who thought the trade involving George was a lopsided affair. In an interview with reporters from a few days ago that was posted on the Lakers' official Twitter account, Walton said:

“Originally I thought it was kind of a lopsided trade, but I’m man enough to admit that I was wrong. Indiana, I think they’re probably the surprise team of the season so far. They’re playing unbelievable. Both of those players they got in the trade, they’re playing some really, really good basketball. Obviously a good trade for both teams.”
