The Indiana Pacers were down 101-99 in the closing moments of the game to the Boston Celtics. But the Celtics lead did not last long as Pacers star Victor Oladipo hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 3.7 seconds left.

The Celtics attempted a lob play for Jayson Tatum for what could be the potential game-winner for Boston. However, their plan was thwarted by no less than Oladipo himself who tipped the pass.

With the win, Indiana is now up by a half game on the Celtics. The Pacers' record is now 7-3 and the Celtics are now 6-3.

Oladipo was in the Paul George trade and since being moved to the Pacers, the All-Star instantly became the cornerstone of Indiana.

Victor Oladipo finished with 24 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and three steals against the Celtics. He also shot 33.3 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from three-point range.

The Pacers had high expectations coming into the year as being a top-five team in the Eastern Conference and possibly going deep in the playoffs. The Pacers took LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to seven games but ultimately fell to the Cavs in the first round.

One of the key things to look for this season is how far Oladipo can carry his team this season. With the team currently sitting at the third spot in the Eastern Conference, it is clear they are on track to where they are supposed to be this season.
