Indiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo confirmed that he will make his season debut on Jan. 29 against the Chicago Bulls at home.

Oladipo has recovered from a ruptured quad tendon in his knee. The Pacers and their fans can't wait to see Oladipo on the floor again:

“It's been a long 12 months, a long journey, but I've learned a lot about myself and I'm going to continue to keep growing because of it,” Victor Oladipo said in a video message to Pacers fans on Wednesday. “I'm looking forward to getting out there and playing in front of you fans again and playing with my teammates.”

Oladipo averaged 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists for the Pacers last season before he got hurt. The All-Star shot 42.3 percent from the field, 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 73.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The Pacers have been playing well this season without Oladipo. They are 23-14, good for sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Once Oladipo comes back and gets his legs underneath him, Indiana figures to be even more lethal on offense.

Indiana fans are certainly looking forward to seeing Malcolm Brogdon and Oladipo share the backcourt together. Brogdon, when healthy, has been carrying the Pacers on offense sans Oladipo. His job will get a lot easier once Oladipo is back and playing like the All-Star he is, and hopefully the duo can stay on the court and help Indiana make a run.
