Victor Oladipo is known as a great basketball player, but you might not be aware of the fact that he's also an excellent singer. The Pacers All-Star took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that he served as “Thingamajig” on The Masked Singer.

Oladipo did quite well in the guess-who style of singing competition. In one performance, the 27-year-old guard sang “Easy,” by the Commodores. Stood in his colorful plaid suit and Thingamajig mask, he wowed the crowd with his soulful voice:

In another performance, Oladipo belted out “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg” by The Temptations:

Unfortunately, Oladipo was voted off in the semifinal round.

“All of it was just a great experience,” Oladipo said, via The Masked Singer. “It's something that I'll always remember.

“I play a sport where we don't wear masks and helmets,” Oladipo added. “Everyone pretty much sees us. When you go places, you're recognizable. But with this (costume) on, it was different. It was fun.”

Oladipo suffered a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee on January 23. He underwent surgery to address the injury just a few days later, which led to the end of his season. At this point, he remains without an official timetable for return, though some reports indicate he could be ready to play sometime before the All-Star break.

Despite the fact that Oladipo is sidelined, the Pacers (16-9 overall) are playing well. Indiana will be back in action on Friday night, when they'll take on the Atlanta Hawks.
