Despite dealing with a toe injury for some time now and barely practicing with the team, star quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to perform and deliver for the Green Bay Packers. This raised the question: what's his secret?

A lot of people are certainly curious how Rodgers has been able to play well for the Packers despite his condition and lack of practice. Amusingly, the veteran signal-caller had a rather hilarious response when asked about it, channeling his inner Allen Iverson.

“As Allen Iverson once famously talked about practice…” Rodgers said, per Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network.

Aaron Rodgers certainly picked the best time to reference Iverson and his epic rant back in May 7, 2002, during which he used the word “practice” 22 times. To recall, the Philadelphia 76ers legend went on his practice tirade after he was questioned about his dedication to practice.

Here's a part of his rant:

“We sitting in here—I’m supposed to be the franchise player, and we in here talking about practice,” Iverson said. “I mean, listen: We talking about practice. Not a game. Not a game. Not a game. We talking about practice. Not a game. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it’s my last. Not the game. We talking about practice, man. I mean how silly is that?”

No one is questioning Rodgers' dedication to practice, but he's clearly making a statement here: he won't allow any injury to slow him down and affect the Packers.

True enough, he has been sensational for the team as they hold the top spot in the NFC at 10-3. While he continues to deal with a toe injury, he is more motivated than ever to lead the Packers to the promised land once again.
