Green Bay Packers superstar Aaron Rodgers' bad 2020 continues to get worse and worse. Now his relationship with Danica Patrick has come to an end. A representative for Patrick told E! News on Thursday that the two had split up, via ESPN.

Rodgers and Patrick had been dating since 2017.

There had been speculation of a break up over the past week following Patrick's absence during the American Century Championship, a golf tournament Rodgers was competing in. There had also been speculation after Instagram users noticed she had stopped following the Packers quarterback.

This is not the first bad news Rodgers has received this year. While more speculative than full news, the drafting of Jordan Love in the first round in this year's NFL Draft has put the future of his career in Green Bay in question, with the franchise seemingly looking at Love as Rodgers' successor. Rodgers still had a strong season last year in spite of his advancing age, albeit not as strong as years in the past. Rodgers threw for 4002 yards and 26 touchdowns, one more than his 2018 number.

At 36, he is starting to get towards the end of his career, but he does not plan on slowing down any time soon. In an interview with Forbes in 2015, Rodgers admitted it's a young man's game and was focused on being a good teammate.

“Ultimately this game is a young man’s game and I think your legacy is how you treat your teammates and how they remember you,” Rodgers said. “It’s hard to speculate on that. I’m sure that will be interesting, the kind of feelings that I’ll be feeling.”
