Aaron Rodgers rarely answers questions straight up. He likes to dance around a little and leave some intrigue with vague responses.

He has done this in reference to his stances on staying with the Green Bay Packers, retirement rumors, drama off the field, and even his vaccination status. And Rodgers was back at it again at the Packers minicamp on Tuesday.

For insight on the most improved teams from the 2022 NFL offseason, listen below:

Rodgers stated that he plans on retiring a Packer. However, he followed that up by declaring, “unless they trade me,” per Matt Schneidman.

What this means is that only Rodgers and those in his closest circle know when he is planning on actually retiring. It also leaves the door open for a potential trade down the road. The future Hall of Fame quarterback signed a multi-year extension with the Packers during the offseason. But that doesn't rule out the possibility of a trade if things go south in Green Bay.

Rodgers seems to be invested in the Packers at the moment. Although he missed OTAs, he is participating in Green Bay's minicamp. Matt LaFleur believes that his presence at the minicamp will be vital to the team's success this season. Rodgers and Sammy Watkins took the field for the first time together on Tuesday as well.

In conclusion, Aaron Rodgers is still a man of vague answers and intrigue. But it wouldn't be shocking to see trade and retirement speculation arise based on this news alone. Nonetheless, Rodgers main focus right now is leading the Green Bay Packers to the Super Bowl.
