There have been numerous questions about Aaron Rodgers' future in Green Bay over the past few seasons. The quarterback was rumored to want out of Green Bay but the Packers seemed to display interest in keeping him around for the long term. The questions about his future were answered when he signed a massive 3-year deal with the team.

But Rodgers recently discussed his standing with the Packers following his drama-filled 2021 campaign on the Pat McAfee show.

Rodgers first joked about last year before stating that he feels good about his relationships with the Packers' front office, coaches, and players. He then touched on his expectations for 2022 and the recent NFL Draft.

“We've got a lot to play for, lot of exciting things. I'm sure that Packer Nation will be wondering why we didn't take a receiver, or trade up, or what not. You just got to have some faith in the organization.”

Aaron Rodgers then gave one big reason why he believes the Packers can win the Super Bowl.

“Obviously our defense is going to be really good. And defense wins championships.”

The Packers made an effort to upgrade on defense which is expected to pay dividends during the season.

Many were surprised that he decided to remain in Green Bay. But it is clear that Rodgers believes in the Packers and thinks they can bring a Super Bowl trophy home in 2022-2023.
