Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are soon going to find out what life actually is like on the field after the departure of superstar wide receiver Davante Adams. However, Rodgers has full confidence in the downfield weapons left for him to use in the 2022 NFL season. He sounded just like that when he recently spoke about the Packers‘ group of wideouts.

Via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:

“Excited about Randall. We’ve played a lot of football together. Excited about Sammy. Excited about Allen Lazard. He’s been our dirty-work guy for most of his career here, now he’s getting an opportunity to be a No. 1 receiver, so I’m not worried about him at all stepping into that role.”

Not many quarterbacks out there can honestly say that there's nothing to worry about even after losing the top receiver in the previous season. But the Packers quarterback is different. He has been known to deliver big numbers and spectacular passes regardless of who he is looking at down the field.

With guys like Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, both of whom Rodgers is very familiar playing with, the Packers' air attack will always have the potential to surprise as long as Rodgers is under center. Green Bay also added some new weapons to its passing game in the form of Sammy Watkins and rookie Christian Watson. He should be able to help fill the void left by Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders by the Packers back in March for a pair of 2022 NFL Draft picks (22 and 53).
