The Green Bay Packers may have won their season opener against the Chicago Bears last Thursday, but they were not exactly proud of their offensive performance, scoring just 10 points in a seven-point victory.

Earlier this week, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said the team had made “subtle changes” to the tempo, and on Friday, one of the methods Green Bay may be employing was revealed: a play sheet on Rodgers' wristband, which is designed to help communicate play calls faster.

“It gets [the play] out of my mouth a lot faster, I'll tell you that much,” said Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com. “So yeah, maybe it helps me get him the play a little bit quicker.”

LaFleur would not say for sure whether or not Rodgers would be wearing the wristband on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, but it seems like he will end up doing so.

“I don't know, we're just trying something new,” LaFleur said. “We'll figure out where we are going with that.”

Rodgers completed 18 of his 30 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, and Green Bay totaled just 47 yards rushing.

Though it was against a Bears defense that ranked third in the NFL last season, the fact that the Packers' offense looked so inept for most of the game was definitely concerning.

After spending the opening week at Soldier Field, Green Bay will now return home to play host to the Vikings, who also got off to a 1-0 start courtesy of an impressive win over the Atlanta Falcons.
