Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are off to a 2-1-1 start to the 2018 NFL season. While they have looked good for the most part, there was a major scare in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears.

In the first half of the game, Rodgers went down and was slow to get up. When he did get up, it was obvious that his knee was injured and he ended up getting carted off the field to the locker room. Green Bay fans were already close to calling the season over, but Rodgers came out of the locker room to lead the Packers to a miraculous second-half comeback.

Since that game, Rodgers has had some issues with the knee. It has been apparent that the injury has bothered him and he has been seen limping and grimacing at times as well. Last week, Rodgers looked much better and was able to move around a lot more.

According to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Rodgers has been removed from the Packers' injury report leading up to Week 5. That is exactly the kind of good news that fans in Green Bay have been waiting for on the injury front.

This news came at a great time, as the Packers' offense has been getting walloped with injuries. Randall Cobb will miss his second straight game this week, and both Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison are listed as questionable as well. Jimmy Graham's name has come up on this week's injury report as well.

Having a fully healthy Rodgers won't fix everything, but it does help out in a big way.

This news does not mean that Rodgers' knee is back to 100 percent. It likely still bothers him, but it is not enough for him to be listed on the report.

Expect to see Rodgers continually look better over the next few weeks. He has been extremely tough early this year, and it seems like his body is trending in the right direction.
